Numatic TBL4055T

Pushing a full 40-litre scrubber across long commercial shifts fatigues cleaning staff and slows work rates. This traction-drive TBL4055T model powers its own wheels forward, allowing the operator to guide the cleaning lane effortlessly rather than pushing machine weight.

The TBL4055T suits the same medium to large commercial floors as the push model, including depots, halls and retail floors with hard and resilient surfaces. Fill the 40L tank, set the drive pace, and walk behind in steady 550mm lanes at 100rpm while the vacuum recovers. Runtime matches the platform at 1 hour 40 or 3 hours 10 depending on battery count, so route the shift around fill points and swap stops. Traction drive pays back on long straight runs where pushing would tire the operator.

The specification mirrors the TBL4055 with a 40L tank, 550mm scrub width and 100rpm head speed, adding traction drive to the drive train. NX1K lithium phosphate batteries rated for 4000 charge cycles with a 3 year warranty power the shift. The traction unit changes handling rather than cleaning width, which keeps pad and blade stocks common with the push version.

Train operators on the drive control before solo use, especially stopping distances on ramps and wet patches. Rinse tanks, inspect the drive wheels for wrapped debris, and park on charge with tanks vented. Keep drive and squeegee maintenance on one checklist so traction never masks a worn blade leaving water behind.
